Today in Ottawa Bill C-268, mandatory minimum sentencing for traffickers of children, will be reviewed from 4:25pm-6:15pm by the Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science, and Technology. Thanks so much to all of you who have sent in emails urging Bill C-268 to be passed without amendment. If you have not done so, it is still not too late! Please email a Senator, before 4:25pm today, to let them know how important of an issue this is to Canadians. How exciting is it that human trafficking is being discussed in government? This was unheard of 5 years ago in Canada. To honour this day, I have decided to share with you a song of hope by Crystal Loszchuk called Lift Your Voice.
Enjoy, and let your voices be heard today!
