Jay, Michelle, and everyone who poured their heart into this – it shows. I loved the video and have been sharing it with others as much as possible.
My only regret: that I couldn’t come to Montreal with you. Looks amazing.
love and prayers,
niki
This is a great video that will help many change their mind about trafficking. Thanks for your contribution to the fight against trafficking.

A friend told me about this organization and this video and I am grateful to her for sharing this with me. Having viewed the video I now take away a better understanding of trafficking within Canada and around the globe. The video was amazing – both in content and delivery, you can feel the passion and time that was poured into it. Thank you for making this video and for speaking out against trafficking. My heart aches for all the children and women who are victims of this disgusting act and I hope that they may all find peace and happiness.

This is a fantastic video!! I am so glad you guys did this. I’ve been trying to spread the word and get people to read Victor Malarek’s books and Ross MacInnes’ book ‘Children In the Game’, for years but lots of people don’t or won’t read but hopefully they will take the time to watch this and get informed! I sent it to everyone and asked them to pass it on.
Man I hope I will live to see the day when all Canadians are aware and disgusted by it and working together to see the end of slavery in our country!!
Thank you!
Tessa
Our humble pleasure Tessa.

This was so well put together…the passion and genuiness of everyone in this video is so felt. Your work is not unnoticed…the Creator has used each and everyone of you in a great and mighty way…
GREAT job!
Just saw the movie “Human Trafficking” recently and my heart was torn out of my chest because of the reality of this evil. I shake my head in disbelief that this happens in our world today- and especially at home here in Canada. I read recent articles about how trafficking escalated because of the recent Olympics. SUPPLY AND DEMAND. Seems like such a huge ginormous mountain to conquer!
I’m posting your website all over my networks. I work at a crisis pregnancy service in Toronto helping women with self esteem, relationship issues, crisis pregnancy, and abortion. I know my world is slowly colliding with this other issue of human trafficking and want to help on our end by educating the community about it as well as the other things we do already. If we all work together, we can make difference- one life at a time.
Thank you for all your hard work on making this campaign/video and don’t give up!
With prayers and endurance,
Eeleah
Incredible. May God bless you for exposing this terror in our country.
Excellent and moving, thought provoking video. Suggest you change the greeting on the page from “Welcome and Enjoy” as “enjoyment” is almost a contraindication of what you are trying to achieve. Perhaps your greeting could read to “Welcome and be inspired to action” or “Welcome, look, learn and live the changes needed to end human slavery and trafficking”
Hello! My friend contacted me and asked permission to show this at the global forum in Ottawa next week, I am not sure how to contact you guys…is this okay? Keep up the great work! Eric
Thanks everyone for your comments. And good point John, I just changed the title. We are in the process right now of making HFTS a huge info hub for everything to do with sex trafficking, including regular blog posts. Can’t wait!

This was incredibly informative. I’ve know for years that something was happening but was never quite sure how or who. I never dreampt that many average poor, middle class and educted men take advantage of these women and young victims without thought or regret. The johns have to be made accountable, without accountability and without conscience, you create an atmosphere of opportunity. Why stop, who cares, they’re throwaway people aren’t they? The world cares and we all have to take a stand. There’s no such thing as garbage people, they’re somebody’s sister, mother, child.
Oh my goodness. Michelle and Jay… What a brilliant documentary!! I was riveted through the entire thing! Your message and your motivation to get it heard is inspirational. Of course, I continue to be inspired by the both of you! How can I help Hope for the Sold? I’d love to help you get the message out!
Congratulations on some excellent film making and I certainly hope you are trying to get it into Hot Docs this year!!
All the best to you both!
Sabrina
Thanks Sabrina!! What a journey that has been! We just found out that it has been sent to a bunch of people in the Canadian government. That is fantastic…it is so great to get the news out! Right now we are building HFTS into an info resource centre for students and abolitionists. if you happen to come across news or articles etc on trafficking, send them our way! That would be a big help! We’ll let you know how you can help in other ways too as we build…I am sure there will be many ways to get involved!

Hey!
Shelley from my work told me about this video. I just finished watching your documentary, and it was amazing. I went to Japan a couple years ago with a group to do a focus on human trafficking through photography, and it is truly an issue that so important to educate people on. It’s a difficult to issue to take on because of the depth, and complexity of it. I know there are days it would weigh to heavy, I didn’t want to think about it anymore. So, keep up the amazing work!

While doing some research on my son’s video “Stolen” at 3mtl.com I came across your documentary. What a superb piece of work! I think that the more we look at every aspect to this problem the greater chance we have to freeing the enslaved. I was so glad to see that you looked at the demand side of this equation. The viciousness of this crime is how it is wrapped up in the economics of the world community and the indoctrination of our young men and boys by pornographers, that this is what love and sex are all about. We have allowed the likes of Hugh Hefner, Larry Flynt and their ilk to define sex and relationships for our young men replacing the mentoring by good men and fathers. My son, Brian Terry, is very active for this cause here in the states and I hope you will view his interviews and music video “Stolen” at 3mtl.com when you can. Please keep up the good work, so very many lives depend on it. Thank you Canadians, we love our neighbor to the north!
